The Sanctuary is a not-for-profit association dedicated to providing surrendered animals with a safe, loving, and supportive environment while they wait to find their forever homes. We believe every animal deserves compassion, care, and a second chance.
Beyond animal rescue and rehoming, The Sanctuary is passionate about creating meaningful connections between people and animals by supporting individuals of all abilities through the adoption process. We provide ongoing guidance and assistance, either directly or in collaboration with support workers, to ensure both the person and their new companion thrive together.

The Sanctuary relies on the generosity of our community to continue providing care, safety, and second chances to surrendered animals. Donations play a vital role in helping us cover essential running costs, veterinary expenses, food, shelter, and ongoing care for the animals in our program. Support can come in many forms, including financial contributions or donated items such as animal food, bedding, toys, enclosures, and other supplies. Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference and helps us continue our mission of caring for animals while supporting inclusive adoption opportunities within the community.
At The Sanctuary, we are passionate about helping animals find safe, loving forever homes. We care for a wide range of small pets, including guinea pigs, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, and poultry, with many wonderful animals available for adoption at any one time. We believe animal companionship should be accessible to everyone and proudly support people of all abilities throughout the adoption journey. Our team can provide ongoing guidance and assistance with animal care, either directly or in partnership with a person’s support worker, helping both the adopter and their new companion build a happy and successful bond together.

Donate Items
The Sanctuary gratefully accepts a wide range of donated items to help us provide the highest level of care for the animals in our program. Donations of animal supplies such as bedding, toys, feeding equipment, grooming products, hay, and animal food are always greatly appreciated. We also welcome enclosures, hutches, cages, tanks, and other safe housing items suitable for small pets and animals. Every donated item, big or small, helps us create a comfortable and enriching environment for the animals while they wait for their forever homes or continue supporting our community programs.
