Welcome to The Sanctuary’s Animal Experiences - where learning, connection and a little animal magic come together!
Our standard experience packages are outlined below and prices are for private events, but we’re always happy to have a conversation about creating a custom experience to suit your group, venue, occasion and budget.
We can create custom experiences for private or public events, community groups, family fun days, schools, organisations and more, bringing our animals and their stories to people wherever they are.
Most importantly, every experience has a purpose beyond creating wonderful memories. Funds raised through our Animal Experiences contribute directly to the care and wellbeing of the animals at The Sanctuary, helping provide the food, housing, enrichment and veterinary care they need.

Scales Are Not Scary!
$150
Have you ever wanted to meet a snake, pat a bearded dragon or get up close with some amazing reptiles and amphibian in a fun, safe and inclusive environment? Our goal is to help people overcome their fears to learn about these incredible animals and discover why Scales Are Not Scary!
These one hour sessions include two experienced handlers with a minimum of three different animals and can cater to up to 30 guests.
Petting Paddock Experience
$250
Step inside the Petting Paddock and enjoy a hands on animal experience featuring a range of animals from The Sanctuary. Set within a 3x3m fenced enclosure, guests can relax, interact and spend quality time with the animals that currently call The Sanctuary Home.
This two hour experience provides plenty of opportunity for animal interactions and creating memorable moments in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

From hands-on animal interactions and educational sessions to our friendly animal ambassadors meeting your guests, our experiences are designed to encourage connection, curiosity and inclusion for people of all ages and abilities. Every experience is tailored to your needs, with all funds contributing to the care and wellbeing of the animals at The Sanctuary.
