The Playspace outreach program

After DANCE JAM and THE DANCE we often wind up with a room full of people who feel very good and open hearted. Why not harness this beautiful energy and take it out into the world, we thought? So we founded POP, the PlaySpace Outreach Program.

Periodically, after THE DANCE on Sunday mornings we visit nursing homes, orphanages, hospitals, refugee camps, soup kitchens, mentally disabled homes and other venues where personal contact can mean so much. We often involve dance in our activities but sometimes simply give our time to whatever is needed.

POP is a simple way to bring joy and meaning into someone's life less fortunate than us. A little bit of our time can make a big difference.

Please check the schedule for the date of the next POP event or be added to our email mailing list. Times are usually 2pm-4pm. Requirement is that you join The Dance in the morning to create a stronger bond between participants. Bring lunch (for yourself) if you wish to eat together.
