Cancellations: In the case of a cancellation the PlaySpace will attempt to find a patron to fill the space for the hours of the hire. If we are successful 80% of your deposit will be refunded to you. If we cannot secure a replacent hire for the time contracted: Up to 2 weeks before the rental date: You will be liable for 40% of the rental fee. After 2 weeks before the rental date: You will be liable for 70% of the rental fee.

 

Treatment room for hire

A treatment / massage room is available for hire. The room is available at any time but if a class or event is scheduled during the same time music may penetrate into the massage room. Check with us about timing if this poses a problem for you. The room includes a heater, a fan and a CD player.

$ 75/ day (8 hours), $50 half day (5 hours) or $ 12 per hour, incremented in 1/2 hours

Hall for hire

Our entire 530 sq.m space is available for hire on an hourly basis. Also available for hire is the first rate sound system. The hall has heating and air conditioning.The PlaySpace is 100% smoke free and usually shoe-free (but we will allow shoes for some events). The hall is equipped with an excellent timber dance floor (designed to give maximum joint protection without feeling spongy), 2 powerful fans, a lounging area, a water fountain and colored lighting.

Weekdays:

Daytime (10am- 6pm): $ 20/h (10 people and over: + $ 0.50 per person/h) $ 30 minimum

Evenings: (after 6pm): $ 40/h (10 people and over: + $ 0.50 per person/h)

25 % discount for full day hire (8 hours)

 

Weekends and holidays (excluding Saturday evenings):

Daytime (10am- 6pm): $ 40/h + $ 0.50 per person/h (10 people and over)

25 % discount for full day hire (8 hours)

 

Other options:

sound system hire: $ 13/h

air conditioning: $7/h

heating: $9/h

All prices are calculated in 1/2 hour increments.All hire fees must be paid in advance and a deposit or a security bond will be required. For pricing, any person remaining on the premises for 1/4 of the hire time is counted. As the hall may be booked before and after your hire time we cannot guarantee you setup time. If setup time is essential we suggest that you include setup time in your hire. If setup time is not included with your hire and if the hall is free you are welcome to arrive 10min early for setup.
